Sleek and chic office interior design project, Spain

Valencia-based architects and interior designers Masquespacio have designed the office for Spanish Law firm  Zapata y Herrera. Completed in 2012, the contemporary office design can be found in Spain’s third largest city Valencia.

According to the architects: “First of all the old beams were restored, making them an essential element of the project. The use of wood is significant in the office design, not wanting to stand out, but in order to transmit confidence as one of the most important values of Zapata y Herrera. The use the of colour grey takes over, symbolising stability and professionalism, while the use of black transmits a certain elegance and seriousness with which the firm practices its profession.

“On the left side of the office we can find the central element, which is a curtain made of wooden strips that repeat the colours of the firms’ values. It is noteworthy to mention how the small space was maximised using L-shaped tables positioned above the storage lockers.

“In front of the previous contemporary office space  and behind the reception we can find the interns area with a sense of green offered by a range of Aloe Vera plants matching with a green chair from Javier Mariscal, made from a 100 per cent recycled material.

“Also alongside the boardroom from where you can see the Float couch, this has been designed by Karim Rashid for the Spanish brand Sancal.”
