Luxury hotel in Marrakech the Taj Palace
Marrakech may conjure up images of fire-eaters, snake charmers, labyrinth alleyways and spicy souks but a holiday in Marrakech will take you to a modern city that is a far cry from its former incarnation as a desert stopover for caravan travellers. Luxury hotel group Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and JK Hotels are due to open the Taj Palace Marrakech. Helsinki-based architectural practice Amerikka Design Office have renovated the interior design of a North American diner. The contemporary restaurant named Chico’s can be found in Espoo, Finland. According to the designers: “The Chico’s restaurant chain has been serving North American food to Finns since 1991. In spring 2012, the chain’s time-honoured Iso Omena (‘Big Apple’) restaurant was reopened with a bold new interior. Amerikka Design Office Ltd had created a new space concept for the restaurant, designed to support its new food, drink and service concept. According to the architects: “The contemporary Santiago house is located in a district in the east area of Santiago and one of its characteristics is the presence of old trees.
