South Beach Bed in White Faux Leather

A decorative spin off of our original South Beach Bed, this version features button tufting and chrome nail heads on the head and foot boards. A modern, clean lined bed with added trimmings, this South Beach in White Faux Leather is sure to complement almost any other style furniture you own.

New Deep Sofa in Regal Spa Blue Velvet

With a seat deep enough for serious lounging, the New Deep Sofa still manages to maintain an immaculate appearance with its tight seat and back and button tufting. In our Regal Spa Blue Velvet this sofa is absolutely ethereal.

Hollywood Sectional in Brussels Charcoal

This is as glamorous as a sectional can be. In a lustrous charcoal velvet, this Hollywood Sectional would be right at home on the silver screen. This sectional may look diminutive because of its slim frame, but we promise there’s plenty of room to spare.

Custom High Boy Mixed Up Acapulco

Can’t decide on one leg option? Why bother when you can have them all. Our Custom High Boy Mixed Up Acapulco is an amalgamation of styles for the adventurous soul. This indecision makes for the best decision for the eclectic home interior.

Riviera Chaise Lounge in Mystere Magic Velvet

Our Riviera Chaise Lounge is a modern re-mix of a classic piece and designer favorite. In true Hollywood Regency glamour style with a timeless silhouette of the Louis XV period, this chaise is such a versatile piece. Mix it in with some edgier pieces for a Rococo Rock and Roll decor or keep it with similar Louis style pieces for a more refined, posh setting.

lashfully

Posted on: December 17th, 2012 by Taryn

We recently had the pleasure of working with the CEO of Lashfully, Matana, in creating some custom pieces for the Newport Beach and Beverly Hills locations. These beauty salons are elegant in every sense of the word. Lashfully has altogether created a luxurious atmosphere for their clientele to receive the very best eyelash extension treatments and makeup services around.

Matana had a clear vision for Lashfully and it really shows. The rich, dark walls adorned with vintage fashion photographs along with sparkling chandeliers and vintage style vanity sconces make for a space that is nothing short of glamorous.

We think our Hollywood Sofa and Ottoman and Phillipe Chair in rich velvets look stunning in this sumptuous beauty salon. The Victoria Coffee Table and Louis Style Chairs are the perfect choice in white, to balance the darker walls and upholstered items.

Our Hollywood Sofa is always glam. In this silver velvet, it’s positively bewitching. Lucite legs and chrome nail heads add a nice dose of dazzling accents. The tight, tufted back and seat and clean lines make for a gorgeous sofa with a sophisticated edge.

Our Phillipe Chair can take on so many different personalities and styles. Seen here in the Bonanza style, the Phillipe has a bit of an edge to it. The Phillipe seen at Lashfully is upholstered in a black velvet fabric for a polished, classic look.

A Louis Style Chair is a must have and in a white faux croc leather, this classic chair gets a fun update. In white upholstery on a white lacquer frame, this Louis Style Chair is sure to work harmoniously with almost any other style pieces you own.

Whether it’s in helping our clients choose fabric and hardware or guiding them to the ideal piece for their lifestyle, our design team will help each individual client find the perfect fit for their needs and style.

Festa Radoni, who worked with Matana on this project, is now an in-store designer at our newest showroom in New York. Her passion is in creating spaces which feature innovative designs, while still maintaining a timeless quality. A true Room Service ambassador in every sense of the word, she has fun with every new client she takes on. The customization that Room Service offers is one of her favorite aspects of her job as every project is guaranteed to be different.

“Starting of at the Newport Beach CA showroom and now working out of the New York City showroom, I’m excited to grow with the company and make our clients dream rooms a reality. I hope New York city is ready for us!”

Visually stunning store concept in Shenzhen, China

Posted on: December 10th, 2012 by ModShop

Shanghai-based interior designers and architects Coordination Asia have completed a new breed of telecom stores named AER for AISIDI, one of China’s leading resellers of mobile and digital products and services.

AER is a retail brand that offers customised mobile services in a playful, cool and customer-focused environment. The architects took on branding as well as VI and store design for AER. The first AER store has now opened in Shenzhen and new stores are planned to open China-wide soon.

Inspired by the growing importance of mobile Internet use in daily life in China, the firm created an out-of-the-box brand that turns the act of purchasing a mobile product into an active and fun experience. AER is based on a great understanding of mobile lifestyle, in which mobile devices keep you connected, entertained and updated through a variety of online and offline apps.

The store layout of the commercial property has been designed as an interactive environment that caters to the needs of different target-customers: Trendy, Lifestyle and Tech Savvy. Products are thematically presented in combination with related accessories, apps and carriers on custom-made presentation tables with ‘serving trays’. Following a black runway from the entrance, customers find the App Bar where they can try out mobile apps on a large interactive screen. Painted pegboards are used to cover the walls of the store. This allows display shelves to be hung freely within the whole space and to be changed location at all times. The whole interior is flexible, so that changes in layout can be made quick and easily.

Sleek and chic office interior design project, Spain

Posted on: December 10th, 2012 by ModShop

Valencia-based architects and interior designers Masquespacio have designed the office for Spanish Law firm  Zapata y Herrera. Completed in 2012, the contemporary office design can be found in Spain’s third largest city Valencia.

According to the architects: “First of all the old beams were restored, making them an essential element of the project. The use of wood is significant in the office design, not wanting to stand out, but in order to transmit confidence as one of the most important values of Zapata y Herrera. The use the of colour grey takes over, symbolising stability and professionalism, while the use of black transmits a certain elegance and seriousness with which the firm practices its profession.

“On the left side of the office we can find the central element, which is a curtain made of wooden strips that repeat the colours of the firms’ values. It is noteworthy to mention how the small space was maximised using L-shaped tables positioned above the storage lockers.

“In front of the previous contemporary office space  and behind the reception we can find the interns area with a sense of green offered by a range of Aloe Vera plants matching with a green chair from Javier Mariscal, made from a 100 per cent recycled material.

“Also alongside the boardroom from where you can see the Float couch, this has been designed by Karim Rashid for the Spanish brand Sancal.”
